Located just behind the restaurant precinct, the high-tech Prima Tower rises to be the second tallest building in Melbourne and arguably its finest. Competition for one of the 667 apartments is fierce and that's due in large part to the quality fit-out.
One of the features of the Prima Pearl development is its super-fast lifts - Australia's fastest, travelling at eight metres per second, and the lift lobbies feature floor-to-ceiling American White Oak from Britton Timber.
Chris Mills from Britton Timbers says the thirty-year association with Multiplex's partner developer, fit-out specialist, Schiavello, meant Brittons was able to respond immediately to the tight deadlines.
"We carry probably Australia's largest quantity of American White Oak and because of that and the understanding we've developed over the years, meant we were able to supply to Schiavello's exacting requirements with a minimum of delay."
Chris says American White Oak was used extensively throughout the complex.
"American White Oak was used stained and with a wire-brush effect, as well as in its natural state in wall paneling and doorjambs. The Prima pearl job was the largest we've undertaken so far in partnership with Schiavello and we're very proud to have played our part."
Prima Pearl offers stunning views over the Melbourne skyline, Albert Park Lake, and all the way to the Dandenong Ranges. Its interior boasts a private cinema, twenty-five metre swimming pool, virtual golf room, gymnasium and barbecue terrace.
It's luxury and quality all the way at Prima Pearl and American White Oak from Britton Timbers has added the modern, clean feel to the interior that the world-class developers knew would complement the stunning exterior.
