Veneer Leaf & Layons

Veneering is the most environmentally sustainable means of expressing the aesthetic value of timber. With only the highest quality logs available in a given species, each log is sliced at 0.6 mm to maximise the visual appeal of the finished product. One cubic metre of flitch is capable of producing up to 1,000m2 of veneer. Our decorative veneers are bundled together and sold as leaf or assembled into a sheet called a layon. Layons can be assembled using a variety of patterns to produce highly decorative outcomes.
