One of Sydney's most stunning and best-loved walks from Bradley's Head to Chowder Bay has been a favourite of Sydney-siders and tourists for more than a hundred years, so when the time came to upgrade the boardwalk, Britton's was consulted.
Britton Timbers supplied hardwood for the National Parks project which was run by Ichor Constructions. Dressed 6×6 Ironbark posts now carry the boardwalk load and Blackbutt is featured on the attractive safety rails.
The Bradley’s Head Walk provides magnificent views of some of Sydney’s finest homes, close bushland, and of course the famous harbour with Circular Quay and the Opera House.
The walk follows the headlands, passes historic Taronga Zoo, and as you would expect there are opportunities to grab a cool drink or a coffee along the way.
Britton's Peter Warr says "the boardwalk compliments the natural bushland and sea views perfectly and the timbers will provide stability and long-life to the boardwalk which will see increased traffic during the summer months."
